Return, Replacement & Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 2026 At Lalwani Computers, we deal in certified refurbished electronics including laptops, MacBooks, LCD screens, accessories and smart home devices. We are committed to ensuring that every product you receive meets our quality standards. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Replacement Policy (30 Days)
We offer a 30-day replacement guarantee on eligible products from the date of delivery.
Eligible reasons for replacement:
- Wrong product delivered
- Product has a manufacturing defect
- Product is physically damaged upon delivery
- Product does not match the description on the website
Conditions that must be met:
- Replacement request must be raised within 30 days of delivery
- Product must be unused and in original condition
- All original accessories, cables, and packaging must be intact
- Photo or video proof of the defect or damage is required
- Products showing signs of physical misuse or damage caused by the customer are not eligible
2. Refund Policy
We offer refunds in the following specific situations:
Refund will be provided when:
- Product has a major manufacturing defect that cannot be replaced with the same model
- Wrong product is delivered and correct replacement is not available in stock
- Product is significantly different from the description listed on the website
Refund process:
- Refund request must be raised within 30 days of delivery
- After verification and approval, refund will be processed within 7–10 business days
- Refund will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, bank account, or card)
This policy is in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).
3. Non-Returnable / Non-Replaceable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or replacement:
- Products purchased on final clearance sale (clearly marked as non-returnable at time of purchase)
- Products with physical damage caused by the customer after delivery
- Products that have been tampered with, modified, or repaired by a third party
- Products where original packaging, accessories, or serial number stickers are missing or damaged
4. How to Raise a Request
- Email us at Info@lalwani.in with your Order Number and a brief description of the issue
- Attach clear photos or a video clearly showing the defect or damage
- Our team will review your request and respond within 48 working hours
- Once approved, we will arrange reverse pickup or guide you on self-shipping
- Replacement will be dispatched within 5–7 business days after the returned product is received and verified
5. Shipping Charges
- Wrong product or manufacturing defect → Lalwani Computers bears shipping cost
- Product damaged during transit → Lalwani Computers bears shipping cost
- Customer preference change → Customer bears shipping cost
Reverse pickup is available in most serviceable areas. If reverse pickup is not available at your pincode, you may be required to self-ship the product to our address. Shipping cost for self-shipping (when applicable) will be reimbursed via store credit after verification.
6. About Refurbished Products
All products sold on lalwani.in are certified refurbished unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refurbished products are pre-owned devices that have been professionally inspected, cleaned, and tested to ensure functionality. Minor cosmetic imperfections such as light scratches or scuffs are normal and are not considered defects. Any major cosmetic or functional issues will be disclosed in the product description.
7. Legal Compliance
This policy is designed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. As a consumer, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) if your grievance is not resolved.
